Privacy notice.
What Chobitek collects through this website, why we collect it, who handles it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. Last updated 18 October 2026.
The short version
- We collect only what you type into our two forms, plus basic technical data every website receives.
- We use it to reply to you and, if you ask for a Digital Health Check, to prepare your report.
- We do not sell your information, and this site has no advertising or analytics trackers.
- Please do not send passwords, card numbers, access codes or your customers' personal information.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time.
Who we are
Chobitek Digital Business Solutions ("Chobitek", "we") runs the website chobitek.com. We decide how the information you send us is used. To ask a privacy question, use the contact page and write "Privacy" at the start of your message.
What we collect and why

The questionnaire saves your unfinished answers in your own browser so you can come back to them. That copy stays on your device and is not sent to us until you press Send. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The checks we make
A Digital Health Check looks only at the publicly visible parts of the website, domain and email set-up you name, the way any visitor or mail server could see them. We do not log in to your accounts, and we do not run security tests that probe your systems unless you give us separate written permission first. We ask that you only name websites and domains you own or are authorised to ask us to review.
Our reason for using your information
We use what you send because you agree to it (when you tick the consent box or press Send) and because you ask us to take steps such as replying to you or preparing a report. You can withdraw your agreement at any time. That does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the small service that receives what you send through the forms.
- Google provides the private spreadsheet where your submission is stored, and the email service that tells us a new submission has arrived.
Only Chobitek can open the spreadsheet. These providers handle information on our behalf and may process it outside Nigeria. We do not sell your information. We may share it if the law requires us to.
Artificial intelligence
We do not currently use AI tools to process your answers. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your agreement first.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, questionnaire answers, check notes and reports for 12 months after we last communicated with you about them, then delete them. We keep them for longer only if you ask us to, or if the law requires it. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
How we protect it
The website and forms use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Submissions go to a private account that only Chobitek can open. No system is perfectly secure, which is why we ask you not to send passwords, card numbers or access codes.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- limit how we use it, or stop using it for a purpose you object to;
- give you your information in a format you can take elsewhere;
- stop relying on your agreement, if that is why we hold it.
Use the contact page and start your message with "Privacy". We may need to confirm it is really you. We will reply promptly and tell you if we need more time. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This website is for business owners and managers. It is not aimed at children.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and its date.
